far off the world

Well obviously I am. I have 5 days off from horrible school (ugh) and have already used up 3 days in waste. Oh you know me. All i've achieved in those damned homework so far are the Math and English exercise, in which the English exercise didn't count much cause i finished it practically the night before the holiday started.
I only have two BOOKFULs of Physics exercise and Geography to cram and two Lit essays to turn in. Life's good, right? RIGHT?

Okay, talk a little bit about music. I think i may have taken another leap since the indie fever to getting to know about the 60's music where biggest musicians of all time have been born. Aside from The Fab Four and some Bob Dylan records, i didn't have much 60's hits in the ipod. Probably because i didn't know where to start and which good place to choose. But i started off with something even earlier like Doris Day and Ella Fitzgerald and fell completely in love. One question, why don't they make music like that anymore? The reason i like indie is because sometimes it brings back nostalgia of a golden time like that.
I did a research about The Beach Boys today and started listening to their album Pet Sounds. As i'm listening to the track "God Only Knows", i realized how tiresome the contemporary industry is. I know i've whined about it several, more than several times, but they sure didn't satisfy my quest for ultimately good music. Amy Winehouse, Adele or John Mayer (in his album Continuum only, the more i listened to Battle Studies, the crappier it gets) don't pop out on the chart everyday. It gets frustrating, feels like indie is the only genre that lives through the waves.
I listened to a piano-based, female-vocalized some the other day and felt, blank, bored. Am i that faraway from what kids love or am i just trying too hard? It feels lost sometimes when i'm at a complete loss when my friends talked about a Gaga song and stuff. I hate 00s pop sensations. Look how stupid that number looks. "00s" music, ugh, "60s" and "90s" are beautiful numbers. This reminds me of the song George Harrison sings that i just downloaded today, "as i'm sitting here, doing nothing but aging". Brilliant lyrics, another reason to abandon reality to wind back to the good ole days.
Youtube commenters could be so humorously smart sometimes, they have a comment like this: "The Beatles and The Beach Boys should have a baby, we'll call it God". Makes me laugh. At least someone with the right sense.
All i need to do now is to look for a companion.

Enough about the bull crap. I'm getting a cup of milk.

This is just another proof of me being alone in my room way too much.
